We're looking for a Staffing Coordinator to join our growing team in London.

At I Am Chef, we connect exceptional freelance chefs with leading restaurants, hospitality venues, luxury events, and private clients across the UK.

Working alongside our Staffing Manager, you'll recruit chefs, manage bookings, and build lasting relationships.

A great opportunity for someone from hospitality, recruitment, or a professional kitchen looking to start a career in staffing.

What you'll be doing

  • Recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding talented freelance chefs to join our agency.
  • Building strong relationships with chefs, understanding their skills, and matching them with the right opportunities.
  • Managing chef availability and booking chefs onto a wide variety of hospitality, restaurant, and event assignments.
  • Sourcing new chef talent through job boards, referrals, and networking.
  • Working closely with clients to understand their staffing requirements and providing the best chefs for every booking.
  • Managing bookings, schedules, and recruitment administration to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Supporting chefs throughout their journey with I Am Chef and becoming their main point of contact.
  • Helping grow our chef network by continually identifying and attracting high-quality talent.

We're looking for someone who

  • Is passionate about recruitment, hospitality, and working with people.
  • Enjoys building long-term relationships and has excellent communication skills.
  • Is highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can confidently manage multiple priorities.
  • Is proactive, motivated, and enjoys solving problems.
  • Has strong administration and organizational skills.

Previous recruitment, staffing, or hospitality experience would be advantageous. Experience working as a chef or within a professional kitchen would be a significant advantage but isn't essential.
