The Role Outline: Your Week at a Glance - Recruitment and Talent Coordinator
We are doing big things at Village. We are tearing up the rulebook on how hospitality recruitment and learning should feel, focusing on the human touch, and rolling out strategies that actually make a massive difference to our hotel teams.
Right now, our Recruitment and Talent Manager and our Head of Talent, Learning and Culture are driving these changes across the business. They have the big-picture vision, but they need an organisational anchor to help coordinate, schedule, and execute it all.
That is where you come in. As our Recruitment & Talent Coordinator, you will be the engine room behind our team, keeping the admin seamless, the candidates engaged, and the systems running smoothly.
Why Village?
At Village, we do hospitality a little differently. We are all about personality, genuine connections, and creating great experiences for our guests and each other. That is why we back our teams to be themselves, take ownership, learn new skills, and grow their careers.
Previous coordinator experience is great, but your attitude, energy, and attention to detail matter much more to us. If you are organised, positive, love working with people, and want to kickstart or grow your career in Talent & HR, we will give you all the support, training, and opportunities you need. Because it really does take a Village.
How The Village Thrives
We live our culture through four simple commitments:
- We Can & We Do: We show up to make a genuine difference and do fantastic work every day, with purpose.
- We Will: Treat each other with respect and dignity. No ego, no drama. We try our best and look out for each other.
- We Care: We care about our impact on guests, the community, and each other.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
