Job Description

Location: Crystal Care Solutions, Unit 9, Alvaston Business Park, Middlewich Road

We are now seeking a Referrals Manager to join our dedicated team and help us deliver high-quality placements and ensure the best outcomes for every child.

Your Role

  • Drafting of job advertisements and posting vacancies, both internally and externally.
  • Assisting with the sourcing of suitable candidates directly and with recruitment agencies.
  • Supporting the screening of applicants, conducting telephone screening and face to face interviews.
  • Facilitating and coordinating candidate testing and interviews.
  • Facilitating and coordinating all safer recruitment and rigorous vetting checks in line with the legislation for Children’s Homes in England and Wales.
  • Co-ordinate registration at all mandatory and non-mandatory face to face training courses for the Company.
  • Chasing employee attendance at training sessions and sending out training invites as and when required.
  • Update and manage the online training system and managing online learning platforms.
  • Supporting employees to log on to the HR System and access assigned online training courses.
  • Support with office administrative duties in support of and in the absence of the Receptionist/Administrator supporting with DBS check processing, chasing renewals, right to work checks and photocopying these.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, contributing to a supportive and collaborative team environment.

What we are looking for

Essential Criteria

  • Willingness to complete required mandatory training.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Experience in data management, reporting, and use of recruitment, HR or training systems.
  • Understanding of children’s residential care, safeguarding legislation, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., Children’s Homes Regulations, Ofsted requirements).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of organisation, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to interpret and present data for use in reporting and strategic planning.

About The Role

To support in sifting applications, setting up interviews and completing safer recruitment checks, as well as assisting monitoring attendance at training courses and logging training completion on HR Systems. To provide administration support within the HR team with photocopying, scanning, redacting and any other duties as directed by the Head of HR. The post holder supports senior HR staff in the development and implementation of HR and industrial relations policies arranges advertisements for jobs in the relevant media provides practical support for recruitment and selection procedures such as checking application forms, arranging interviews of candidates and ensuring the interview panel receive all relevant documentation provides administrative support for training courses, work placements etc implements and maintains HR records systems
