Recruitment Assistant – 3-Month Contract
Term/hours: 3-month fixed-term contract | 25 hours per week
Salary: £16 per hour (£31,200 FTE) + performance bonus of up to £10,000
Location: Remote or Hybrid (London, Twickenham)
Start: ASAP

Vecta is a dynamic recruitment business working across a range of clients and sectors, from specialist AI engineers through to graduate finance brokers.
We’re currently delivering a major recruitment campaign for one of our biggest clients and are looking for someone to join us for the next three months to help make it happen.
We’re a small, entrepreneurial business: fast-paced, scrappy and hands-on. We move quickly, solve problems as they come up, and care much more about getting things done well than unnecessary process.
The role
You’ll work closely with us to help manage a high-volume recruitment campaign and keep candidates moving quickly through the process.
You’ll be:
- Reviewing CVs and applications against clear criteria
- Making quick judgements on who should progress
- Speaking with candidates by phone and email
- Booking and preparing candidates for first-round interviews
- Following up and keeping candidates engaged
- Keeping trackers and candidate information accurate
- Jumping in wherever needed to keep the campaign moving

Hours & flexibility
Ideally spread across Monday to Friday
Flexibility around when those hours are worked
Work remotely, from our Twickenham office, or a mix of both
Additional paid hours may be available during busy periods
Paid face-to-face training and onboarding day in Twickenham
