Recruitment Assistant

SUEZ are looking for a Recruitment Assistant to play an important role in delivering an inclusive and positive candidate experience from application through to hire.

Salary: £28,673 - £31,257

Benefits: 3% annual bonus, 20 days holiday (plus 8 bank holidays) rising to 25 with service

Hours: 37 - Monday to Friday

Location: Weston-Super-Mare - Hybrid working 3 days per week in office

About The Role

What will I be doing?

As a Recruitment Assistant within our in-house Talent Acquisition team, you'll support end-to-end recruitment across our Materials Sourcing and Logistics divisions. Working closely with hiring managers and HR colleagues, you'll help attract talented people who will contribute to SUEZ's sustainability goals and future success.

This role offers a great opportunity to develop your recruitment skills, build strong stakeholder relationships, and gain experience across a variety of operational and business support vacancies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment activity for vacancies across the Materials Sourcing and Logistics teams.
  • Source, engage, and build relationships with talent through a variety of channels, creating strong candidate pipelines.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR teams to understand workforce needs and support recruitment planning.
  • Deliver an excellent candidate experience, ensuring a professional, inclusive, and timely recruitment process.
  • Support talent attraction initiatives and promote SUEZ as an employer of choice within the sustainability sector.

Requirements

  • Strong administration and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workloads, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with confidence working collaboratively with colleagues, managers, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • A positive, self-motivated approach and a strong work ethic, with the ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience providing customer, stakeholder, or business support in an administrative, HR, coordination, logistics, customer service, or similar environment.
  • A commitment to delivering an inclusive, professional, and high-quality experience for candidates, colleagues, and stakeholders.
