Company Description
We never do short, sharp, task-led calls, therefore, the majority of our visits are 2 hours long. We employ local people, who drive and are specifically insured to take people out.
We schedule your visits with clients, every week on the same day and time, allowing your client to know who to expect and when, and for you to have a structure in your diary.
We support clients in the following areas: Reigate, Redhill, Merstham, Bletchingley, Tandridge, Godstone, Oxted, Westerham, Biggin Hill, Caterham, Purley, Coulsdon and the surrounding areas.
We were established in 2010, and have an 'outstanding' CQC rating.
Part-time and full-time hours are available: am, lunchtime, teatime, evening.
Job Description
Being a Care Assistant is a highly rewarding career, where no two days are the same!
Duties may include:
- Companionship - Ensuring your clients enjoy regular and meaningful social interaction. This is an extremely important part of your visit.
- Home help: Supporting with everyday tasks such as light housework and meal preparation.
- Accompanying clients to appointments or taking them shopping.
- Personal care - Supporting clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent.
- Support prompting or administering medication.

Pay: £13.15 - £14.25 per hour for a two-hour visit, £15.00 - £16.10 for a one-hour visit. (Our visits are mostly 2 hours long) Plus £1 travel supplement, per visit.
Qualifications
No experience is required as we provide award-winning in-house training. Transferrable skills such as caring for your own loved ones is welcomed.
Additional Information
Required:
- Availability - Minimum of 10 hours per week & every other weekend availability
- Access to a suitable form of transport.
- 35p per mile for travel between your clients and 45p per mile when you take your clients into the community.
