Job Description

The Role of a Care Professional

Care Professionals support clients in the community to live and remain in their own home. Due to the nature of the role in the community you must be willing to travel around the Rotherham borough and commit to working a combination of the following shift times 7am – 2.30pm and 3.45pm – 9.45pm including alternative weekends and bank holidays.

You will support clients with:

  • Personal care tasks
  • Medication
  • Meal preparation
  • Light housekeeping
  • Shopping
  • General companionship and wellbeing
  • Taking clients to medical appointments

Part-time hours are approximately between 15 and 20 hours per week on average.

Qualifications

Previous experience in care is not necessary as our amazing team will help you through our award-winning training. This will boost you with all the knowledge and skills you need to deliver high quality care to our clients. Continuous management/training support and extra specialist training is also part of what we provide to all our staff.

We do need our care professional to have a valid driving licence and access to their own car as many of our clients require transport to appointments.
