Job Description

Job: Care Assistant & Companion (Permanent)
Pay effective 30th March: £13.12 per hour (Paid Travel Time & Mileage)
Area: Swansea (SA1 – SA7)
Hours: Morning, Afternoon, or Evening

Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence & Vehicle

The Role:

The rewarding role of a Care Professional can vary every day, which keeps it exciting! You will visit your regular clients homes each day, supporting them with the following:

  • Companionship & Days Out
  • Meal Preparation
  • Light Domestic Duties
  • Administering & Prompting Medication
  • Accompanying to Shopping or Appointments
  • Support with Personal Care

Our Training:

New to care? Don’t worry! We are searching for individuals with values that match our own. We will train the rest. Many of our amazing Care Professionals start with us having not cared professionally before, but with our comprehensive training, mentoring, and shadowing programme, they are now confident and competent Care Companions, making a real difference in their community.

The Hours:

We have a variety of shift patterns for you to choose from, including anything from 16 to 40 hours weekly. You can choose from:

  • Morning Shift (8am-2pm)
  • Weekend Shift
  • Full-time Shift

Additional Information:

Due to the nature of the role, we kindly ask that all candidates have a Full UK Driving License and access to their own vehicle.

Compensation: GBP 13.12 - GBP 26.24 - hourly
