Job Description
We know great talent comes in many forms - including people returning from a career break. If you’re looking for part-time hours, flexible working, or a supportive transition back into your career, we’d love to explore how we can make this role work for you.
Are you enthusiastic about helping great people find the right opportunities? Do you enjoy keeping things organised and supporting others while learning the ins and outs of recruitment? Ready to take on new challenges and thrive in a fast-paced, rewarding workplace? If so, this role could be a perfect fit. You’ll be joining our recruitment team to help deliver a smooth, professional experience for candidates and hiring managers.
You’ll gain hands-on experience in sourcing, scheduling, and administration across the full recruitment lifecycle. Based out of our Newcastle office, this is a permanent role within our People function. At Credera, we operate a flexible hybrid working model. This requires 3 days per week working onsite in your local office. We value collaboration and client impact, so our hybrid model is designed to strike a balance between flexibility, in-person connection, and delivering exceptional outcomes for our people and clients.
Here’s what you’ll do
- Assist with interview scheduling, candidate packs, and other coordination tasks.
- Help organise and support assessment centres and recruitment events.
- Provide general administrative support for recruitment projects as required.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruitment records.
- Help sift CVs via our ATS.
- Support the recruitment process by sourcing and reaching out to candidates using LinkedIn and other channels.
- Conduct candidate screenings and provide summaries/screening notes for hiring managers.
- Assist with advertising job roles and posting engaging job descriptions.
- Act as a friendly ambassador for Credera, providing a positive experience for candidates throughout the process.
- Maintain the recruitment email inbox, moving, escalating and responding to tickets in a timely manner.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
