Impact is a well-established and renowned media and creative specialist recruitment agency and for over 20 years, we’ve built long-term relationships with some of the UK’s most exciting companies across entertainment, music, fashion, tech, agencies etc.
We’re looking for a Recruitment Consultant to take ownership of and grow our established Temp Support Desk.
This is a great opportunity for a recruiter who is as strong commercially and client-focused as they are at recruitment. The desk has an existing client base and a strong candidate network, but there is plenty of opportunity to develop relationships, win new business and build the desk further.
The roles are fast-moving and varied, with temporary bookings ranging from a single day through to ongoing assignments. You’ll need to enjoy the pace of temp recruitment, while also being someone who can build genuine client relationships and turn opportunities into long-term business.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Taking ownership of an established temporary recruitment desk and driving its growth.
- Building strong relationships with existing clients.
- Developing new business and identifying opportunities to introduce Impact to new companies and existing clients.
- Managing temporary recruitment briefs, often at short notice.
- Building and maintaining a strong network of temporary candidates.
- Ensuring right to work, references, contracts, timesheets and other compliance and administration are handled accurately.
- Staying close to clients and candidates throughout assignments.
- Managing extensions, changes and any issues that arise.
- Working collaboratively with the wider Impact team to share opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in temporary recruitment, ideally across business support, secretarial, reception, customer service or similar roles.
- A strong business development and client services mindset – someone who enjoys picking up the phone, building relationships and winning business.
- Commercially driven, with the confidence to develop existing accounts and open new ones.
- Organised and detail-focused, with a good understanding of temporary recruitment administration and compliance.
- Comfortable working at pace and responding quickly when clients need people at short notice.
- A natural relationship builder who genuinely enjoys working with clients and candidates.
- Ambitious, proactive and keen to make the desk their own.
