Consultant (180) – Atlas NextWave

At Atlas NextWave, we connect exceptional talent with industry-leading clients across the Energy, Marine and Renewables sectors globally. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a driven and proactive Consultant (180) to join our Drilling team based in Aberdeen.

This is a delivery-focused recruitment role where you’ll play a key part in sourcing, attracting and engaging top talent while supporting the successful delivery of client vacancies. You’ll work closely with experienced recruiters and managers, building strong candidate pipelines and helping deliver an outstanding recruitment experience.

What you’ll be doing

Recruitment Delivery

  • Source, attract and engage candidates through LinkedIn, headhunting, advertising and proactive search methods
  • Screen and qualify candidates for live vacancies
  • Prepare candidate profiles and support submission and placement processes
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines aligned to current and future hiring demand
  • Ensure recruitment activity complies with legal and internal compliance standards

Candidate & Contractor Management

  • Build strong relationships with candidates and contractors
  • Provide a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the process
  • Maintain regular communication with active talent pools and networks

Client & Team Support

  • Support delivery across client vacancies by identifying suitable candidates and sharing market insights
  • Participate in recruitment meetings and delivery reviews
  • Work collaboratively with the wider recruitment team to meet hiring targets and KPIs

Systems & Administration

  • Maintain accurate records within Bullhorn for Salesforce (BH4SF)
  • Ensure candidate data, CVs and recruitment activity are fully up to date and compliant

What we’re looking for

  • Experience within recruitment, sales, resourcing or a fast-paced customer-facing environment
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proactive and organised approach to work
  • Confidence sourcing and engaging candidates
  • High levels of professionalism, accountability and emotional intelligence
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong IT and systems skills
