Technology Recruitment

Cardiff HQ | Hybrid (3 Days in Office) | £30,000 - £50,000 + Uncapped Commission

The Technology team at Yolk is growing, and we're looking for ambitious recruiters who want to build a market, develop meaningful client relationships and earn well while doing it.

We recruit across some of the most in-demand technology markets in the UK and Europe, including Data, AI, Software Engineering, Cloud, Infrastructure, Cyber Security and Technology Leadership.

Whether you're already an experienced technology recruiter, recruit in another sector, or have a strong sales background and want to move into recruitment, we're interested in speaking with you.

This is an opportunity to join an established and successful team with access to existing clients, proven delivery processes, modern recruitment technology, marketing support and experienced leadership. You'll have the freedom to develop your own specialism and build a desk that genuinely feels like your own.

What you'll be doing:

  • Running a full 360 recruitment desk from business development through to placement
  • Developing your own specialist market within technology
  • Winning new business and growing existing client relationships
  • Building long-term relationships with hiring managers and candidates
  • Advising clients on market conditions, salary trends and hiring strategies
  • Managing recruitment processes from initial brief through to offer and placement
  • Negotiating commercial terms, salaries and contract rates
  • Contributing to a collaborative and supportive team environment

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What we're looking for:

  • Recruitment experience, or a strong background in sales, business development or account management
  • A genuine appetite for relationship building and business development
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of what drives results
  • Confidence picking up the phone and having conversations others avoid
  • Ambition to build and take ownership of your own market
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Technology recruitment experience is helpful, but not essential. We're more interested in attitude, drive and the ability to build relationships.

Why Yolk?

We're ambitious, but we're not interested in KPI theatre. We care about standards and results, but we trust people to run their desks like professionals. You'll get support when you need it and the opportunity to build something meaningful rather than simply maintain somebody else's client base.

If you're looking for a business where you can make an impact, increase your earnings and help shape the future of a growing technology division, we'd love to have a conversation.
