What is on Offer: Trainee Recruitment Consultant

  • £28,000 basic salary, increasing to £32,000 after just six months
  • Year 1 OTE of up to £55,000
  • Year 2 OTE of £60k+
  • Year 2 OTE of £70k+

The Role: Trainee Recruitment Consultant

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you'll be trained across the entire recruitment process while working alongside experienced consultants from day one.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Client Engagement

    • Attending client meetings to understand hiring requirements and company culture
    • Supporting clients in refining job specifications and identifying ideal candidate profiles
    • Building long-term relationships with clients and becoming a trusted recruitment partner
  • Market Intelligence

    • Researching markets to identify new business opportunities and top talent
    • Staying up to date with trends across the technology sector
    • Mapping competitors and developing specialist market knowledge

  • Talent Acquisition
    • Sourcing and engaging high-calibre candidates through LinkedIn, networking, and referrals
    • Interviewing and qualifying candidates
    • Managing recruitment processes from initial conversation through to offer acceptance
