Recruitment Consultant

Catalyst is a leading North East recruitment consultancy employing a core team of highly experienced recruitment experts. We assist SMEs and large corporates alike, calling upon our well-earned knowledge and experience of the region's recruitment landscape, and beyond, to address and surpass our clients' expectations.

We recruit up to management and executive level typically across disciplines such as Finance, Data, Tech, Operations, and Engineering. Catalyst's success is based on the quality of our delivery across a mix of retained, exclusive, and contingent assignments which leads to valued, long-term client relationships.

Following a year of sustained revenue growth and a successful doubling of our team, we now seek to recruit a talented and experienced Recruitment Consultant who can bring similar levels of market insight, determination, and integrity.

As Recruitment Consultant, you will:

  • Manage your own desk, encompassing the full recruitment lifecycle
  • Attract new clients via telephone, email, social media, and in person
  • Source, select, shortlist, and propose suitable candidates
  • Utilize a modern CRM system and associated recruitment technology to coordinate your assignments
  • Co-operate and collaborate closely with other team members
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of your market sector

As Recruitment Consultant, you will need:

  • Proven experience in one or more Technical or Professional disciplines as a permanent/interim/contract Recruitment Consultant
  • A commercially astute mindset
  • Adept in identifying and acquiring high-quality new clients, coupled with strong account management, service, and delivery abilities
  • Experience sourcing and matching the highest calibre of candidates
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • A determination to consistently locate the best candidate for the job
