Our Client
Mackie Myers is a fast-growing, independent recruitment partner operating across London, Oxford, Cambridge and Los Angeles. We work with high-impact organisations across the Commercial and Not-For-Profit sectors, specialising in Finance, Operations and Executive-level talent.
Founded in 2021 by long-standing business partners Jenna Mackie and Owen Myers, the business has grown organically to 30 people, generating £8m+ in annual turnover and already placing us in the top 20% of UK recruitment firms by scale and sales.
We’re proud of what we’ve built, but we’re even more excited about what’s next. Our ambition is bold, our growth plans are significant, and we’re investing in ambitious people who want to grow with the business and play a genuine part in shaping its future.
The Role
You’ve graduated, you’ve got some experience under your belt, and you’re ready for your next move.
Perhaps you’ve spent the last 1-2 years in a sales, recruitment, customer-facing or commercial role and have started to understand what you’re good at. Now you’re looking for somewhere you can develop those skills further, take on more responsibility and have a much bigger impact on your career and earnings.
At Mackie Myers, you’ll join our London office as a 360° Recruitment Consultant, managing the full recruitment lifecycle across your own market.
You’ll work closely with experienced recruiters and senior leaders, building relationships with clients and candidates, winning new business and developing your own revenue-generating desk.
This isn’t about starting again. It’s about taking the experience you already have and accelerating it.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
