We’re looking for an ambitious and commercially minded individual to join our established Finance recruitment business in Cardiff, specialising in Senior Finance interim appointments across the Social Housing sector.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop a clearly defined specialist desk within a market where Hays already has an established customer base, strong relationships across multiple specialisms and significant sector expertise within the South Wales management team and wider Cardiff community.

You’ll have the opportunity to recruit for a range of qualified and senior finance positions, including:

• Management Accountant
• Financial Accountant
• Finance Manager
• Financial Controller
• Finance Director
• Chief Financial Officer

In this role, you will:

• Build and grow a specialist Senior Finance interim recruitment desk, with a clear focus on the Social Housing market.
• Develop relationships with new and existing customers across South Wales and the South of England.
• Source, engage and place qualified and senior finance professionals.
• Manage temporary and interim recruitment processes from initial briefing through to placement and aftercare.
• Identify opportunities within Hays’ established Social Housing customer base.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across Finance, Construction & Property and other Professional Services specialisms.
• Build a strong professional network and establish yourself as a recognised market expert.
• Generate new business through proactive client engagement, market mapping and relationship development.
• Deliver a high-quality experience for both clients and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
