Job Description:
We’re looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join Simply Education, part of the wider Tatton Recruitment Group. As we continue through an exciting phase of ambitious growth and expansion, you’ll benefit from the backing of a larger, forward-thinking organisation while still enjoying the close-knit, high-performing culture that makes Simply Education unique.
Our schools depend on us from the very start of the day, which is why our team begins at 7:00am. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced recruiter looking to take the next step in their career within a well-established and respected agency.
Based in our Kent office, with a flexible hybrid working model (Monday, Tuesday and Friday in the office, Wednesday from home, and site visits on Thursday), this role offers the chance to provide tailored recruitment solutions that have a real impact on schools across Kent. With strong brand recognition already established, you’ll have the opportunity to build, shape, and grow your own desk, combining business development with relationship-led delivery in a competitive, opportunity-rich market.

As a Recruitment Consultant, you will:
- Build and manage strong relationships with schools.
- Source, attract, and place teachers and support staff into temporary and permanent roles.
- Manage and develop your own candidate pool.
- Provide a high-touch, consultative service through face-to-face school visits and regular engagement.
- Understand school challenges and provide effective recruitment solutions.
- Consistently meet and exceed agreed targets and KPIs.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
