The Search is a boutique People & Talent Executive Search Business. We find the People leaders for some of the fastest-growing tech companies in the world.

We're hiring several Associates to train from the ground up to join our Autumn 2026 Academy. No recruitment experience needed: just ambition, personality and the drive to be brilliant.

The companies you'll partner with

You'll be working with Founders, CEOs and Chief People Officers at some of the most talked-about tech start-ups and scale-ups around - our client list includes the likes of Wise, Multiverse and Kraken.

These are VC-backed, high-growth businesses across Fintech, Crypto, SaaS, AI and beyond, from Series A right through to pre-IPO unicorns. We help them hire the Chief People Officers who shape their culture and the Talent Leaders that scale their teams. It's high-stakes, fascinating work, and you'll be in the room with seriously impressive people from day one.

What you'll actually do

  • 🎯 Run a full 360 desk from day one; you own both sides, finding world-class Talent as well as learning how to win the work

  • 🎯 Build authentic, personal relationships with Founders, CEOs and People leaders at the businesses everyone's watching
  • 🎯 Manage complex searches end to end, from brief to offer
  • 🎯 Become a true expert in your market, running events and crafting value-add content

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
