Recruitment Consultant – US Market

£27,000–£32,000 base + uncapped commission

Bristol | Office Monday–Thursday, remote Friday

Most recruitment adverts promise big earnings, rapid progression and a great culture. We’ll give you the useful details instead.

About Altius Talent

Altius Talent is a growing recruitment business specialising in the US market. Our average placement fee is around $10,000, giving you the opportunity to earn good commission without relying on a high-volume, low-fee desk.

You don’t need experience in freight or logistics. We’re looking for someone with at least six months’ agency recruitment experience who understands the basics and is ready to develop.

You might already be running a small desk, or you could be working in a delivery or resourcing role and looking for the opportunity to manage your own market.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll recruit permanent professionals for clients across the United States, covering operational, sales and senior appointments.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
