Purpose of Role:

A targeted phone based role generating candidates and recruitment assignments using effective sales skills and techniques, placing candidates in assignments and generating recruitment fees on behalf of the Company. To manage the recruitment cycle from start to finish including negotiations with clients and candidates and effective business development.
Key Accountabilities
- Recognise opportunities by utilising access to appropriate media, cold calling and networking
- Build strong working relationships with candidates / clients by attending meetings and leading client visits for the area to ensure future and repeat business and to strengthen brand image
- Generate referrals and new clients from market knowledge and business awareness
- Show willing and enthusiasm whilst registering assignments with a client obtaining all relevant information required in order to work on the assignment effectively
- Effectively pitch to potential clients for recruitment assignments selling the Company and the advantages of working with the Emerald Group negotiating terms as appropriate
- Source appropriate candidates for assignments managing the recruitment cycle from start to finish and the successful placement of candidates
- Effectively canvass candidates to clients following guidelines as appropriate
- Ensure the Company database is kept fully up to date and all activity is logged accordingly
- Negotiate, offer terms and conditions and business development as required
- Demonstrate effective headhunting skills and support more junior members of staff
- Strengthen knowledge base of recruitment industry and industry sector building reputation within the market
- Complete administration duties as required
- Ensure the security of all private and confidential information and data at all times
