Recruitment Consultant
Location: Liverpool-based, Bootle Office – Hybrid
Salary: £28,000–£35,000 depending on experience, plus uncapped commission

We’re looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team at Everpool Recruitment.
You’ll take ownership of your own desk across office, commercial and digital marketing roles, building strong relationships with clients and candidates while developing your market and growing your network.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who already understands recruitment, enjoys building relationships and wants the freedom to develop their own desk within a supportive and ambitious team.

- A competitive basic salary of £28,000–£35,000, depending on experience

What you’ll be doing
You’ll manage your own recruitment desk, developing strong relationships with clients and candidates and delivering an excellent recruitment service from initial brief through to placement.
Your role will include:
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships
- Understanding clients’ businesses, hiring needs and recruitment challenges
- Managing existing accounts and identifying opportunities to develop new relationships
- Sourcing, interviewing and placing high-quality candidates
- Managing the recruitment process from initial brief through to placement
- Writing and advertising vacancies across relevant platforms
- Building talent pools and developing your candidate network
- Proactively developing new business through calls, emails, networking and meetings
- Building your network across the office, commercial and digital marketing markets
- Delivering an excellent experience to both clients and candidates
- Working towards individual targets and contributing to team performance
- Bringing ideas and playing an active part in Everpool’s continued growth

What we’re looking for
Previous recruitment experience is essential for this position. We’re looking for someone who understands recruitment, can confidently manage client and candidate relationships and is motivated to build a successful desk.
You’ll also need:
- Previous experience working within recruitment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence speaking with both existing and prospective clients
- Experience sourcing and managing candidates throughout the recruitment process
- A commercial mindset and an understanding of how to develop a successful desk
- A confident, professional and personable approach
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- The ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities
- The motivation to meet targets and deliver results
- The ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
- A positive attitude and genuine desire to contribute to the wider team
