Senior Recruitment Consultant and Team Leader
Technical Recruitment | London (City) | Hybrid Working | £40,000 + Commission (OTE £100,000)

Our client is an established international boutique technical recruitment consultancy based in the heart of the City of London with a fantastic and supportive team of people.

The Opportunity
- You'll take ownership of a thriving account, sourcing exceptional technical talent across global markets and maintaining an already strong relationship with one of their top clients.
- Combining recruitment delivery with account management, you'll play a key role in maintaining outstanding client relationships whilst also leading the dedicated and successful recruitment team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from vacancy briefing through to successful placement.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients and candidates.
- Source, engage, and place high-calibre technical professionals across international markets.
- Coordinate interviews and maintain clear communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Deliver an exceptional recruitment experience in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment.
- Collaborate with an experienced, supportive team that shares knowledge and celebrates success.
- Manage and grow existing client accounts while nurturing newer business opportunities.

Team leading responsibilities:
- Proactively support wider team delivery to protect client/freelancer/business outcomes.
- Identify areas where support might be needed and monitor team capacity to ensure all roles are being worked effectively.
- Lead, manage, and mentor assigned team members to achieve individual and team targets.
- Ensuring existing client business is maximised by assigned team members.
- Share positive and constructive feedback with senior management on team members.
- Promote a positive and motivating team culture across the whole team to drive performance and engagement.
- In conjunction with the Associate Director monitor and identify training and development needs for all team members.
- When necessary supporting team members with client meetings.
- Actively encouraging and pushing team to reach company objectives.
- Demonstrate commercial awareness when making decisions, balancing client and freelancer relationships whilst protecting margin.
- Work cross departmentally and help drive forward processes that will improve overall business outcomes.

About You
- You'll be an experienced recruitment professional who enjoys building relationships and delivering exceptional service.
- You'll also have:
- Proven experience in technical recruitment, account management, or talent acquisition.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities effectively.
- A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach.
- A collaborative team mentality.
- Previous experience managing or mentoring team members.
