Recruitment Consultant

Location: Reading, UK (Hybrid) or 100% Remote (UK)
Employment Type: Permanent

The Opportunity

Joining our growing team, you'll work closely with leadership, sales, and delivery teams to help expand our presence across the Workday, ERP, Digital Transformation, and Technology markets. You'll have the opportunity to build your own client portfolio, develop long-term partnerships, and manage the full recruitment lifecycle while contributing directly to the growth and success of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, LinkedIn outreach, and market research.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, HR leaders, and key stakeholders to understand their hiring needs and become a trusted recruitment partner.
  • Source, headhunt, and engage high-quality permanent and contract professionals using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, and proactive search techniques.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, recruitment agreements, and placement fees while delivering an exceptional client and candidate experience.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of candidates, vacancies, and business opportunities using CRM and ATS platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with internal sales and delivery teams to ensure successful placements and long-term client satisfaction.
  • Stay up to date with market trends, salary benchmarking, and industry developments to provide valuable insights and recruitment advice to clients.
  • Represent the business at networking events, client meetings, and industry conferences to strengthen relationships and generate new opportunities.
  • Consistently achieve recruitment, business development, and revenue targets while contributing to the growth of the business.

About You

  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment, account management, or business development within IT, Technology, ERP, Digital Transformation, or Professional Services.
  • Proven track record of generating new business, building client relationships, and achieving or exceeding sales and recruitment targets.
  • Experience recruiting permanent and/or contract professionals within specialist technology markets.
  • Strong business development skills with confidence in prospecting, cold calling, lead generation, and client acquisition.
  • Excellent sourcing and headhunting skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM/ATS platforms, and other recruitment tools.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience recruiting within the Workday, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, ERP, or wider technology ecosystem is highly desirable.
