About Us
Actus Search is a newly established search business with ambitious plans to become one of the leading recruitment firms serving the global Investment Management industry. We specialise exclusively in Investment Management, partnering with asset managers, wealth managers, investment platforms, private markets firms, hedge funds, fintechs, and digital asset businesses to recruit senior permanent and interim talent across Operations, Technology, Corporate Functions, and Investment Teams.
We're building a high-energy, high-performance culture where ambitious recruiters can accelerate their careers, develop specialist expertise, and play a key role in shaping the future of the business.
Our Approach
At Actus Search, we believe the best recruitment is built on relationships, not transactions. Since our inception, we've focused on creating meaningful connections across the Investment Management industry through community-led networking events and executive leadership roundtables. To date, we've hosted more than 30 executive networking events, bringing together senior leaders to discuss industry trends, share market insight, and build lasting professional relationships. These communities provide our consultants with access to valuable market intelligence and the opportunity to build genuine relationships with candidates and clients alike.
The Opportunity
This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced recruitment leaders, supporting the delivery of retained and contingent executive search assignments across the Investment Management industry. From day one, you'll gain exposure to every stage of the executive search process, working closely with Directors on high-profile mandates while developing a deep understanding of your chosen market. Through ongoing mentoring, market exposure, and hands-on experience, you'll build the knowledge, relationships, and credibility needed to establish yourself as a recognised specialist within your niche.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
