Junior/Trainee Recruitment Consultant/Recruitment Consultant - US Desk (Embedded/RPO) | Manchester

Location: Manchester (Leeds also considered)

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 + Commission (realistic minimum £2k/month)

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hybrid: 1-day WFH per week

We're partnering with a fast-scaling Embedded/RPO recruitment business to hire 5-6 Trainee Recruitment Consultants/Recruitment Consultants for their growing Manchester or Leeds team. This is a genuinely different opportunity - you'll be working exclusively into the US market, delivering as part of an embedded recruitment team directly into client businesses, rather than running a traditional agency desk.

What is Embedded/RPO recruitment?

Instead of working a broad portfolio of one-off agency roles, you'll sit within (or work as a dedicated extension of) a client's internal talent team, focusing on their live roles, building strong stakeholder relationships and becoming a trusted extension of their hiring process. It's a great way to develop consultative, client-facing skills fast.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
