Role Summary

Our Recruitment Consultant plays a critical role in sourcing, attracting and hiring top talent for Flint Technology Services clients, whilst developing strong commercial relationships across the marketplace.

This is a 360-recruitment role, requiring ownership of the complete recruitment lifecycle; from understanding client requirements and developing new opportunities, through candidate sourcing and qualification, interview management and negotiation, to successful placement and ongoing relationship management.

This role requires somebody who is a tenacious, commercially minded recruiter who enjoys winning. They will have the drive to identify opportunities, develop existing accounts, grow new client relationships and build a strong candidate network across the utilities, technology, telecoms and associated professional services markets.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the full 360 recruitment lifecycle, from identifying and qualifying opportunities through to successful placement and ongoing relationship management.
  • Build and develop strong relationships with clients, hiring managers, candidates and key stakeholders.
  • Develop existing client accounts while proactively identifying and winning new business opportunities.
  • Understand client workforce requirements and translate these into effective recruitment and sourcing strategies.
  • Manage recruitment requirements across multiple clients, vendors and countries, ensuring a high-quality and responsive service.
  • Build and maintain strong candidate networks and talent pools across relevant technical, engineering, project, transformation, commercial and professional services disciplines.
  • Proactively source and engage candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, databases, professional networks, referrals and direct approaches.
  • Manage the candidate journey from initial engagement and qualification through to interview, offer, negotiation, on-boarding and post-placement follow-up.
  • Develop strong market knowledge, including emerging skills, talent shortages, candidate availability and market trends, and use this insight to support clients and recruitment activity.
  • Manage rate and offer negotiations, balancing client requirements, candidate expectations and commercially sound outcomes.
  • Create and promote engaging job advertisements and opportunities across appropriate recruitment channels.
  • Provide clients and hiring managers with regular updates on recruitment activity, candidate pipelines and relevant market intelligence.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell Flint’s wider talent and professional services capabilities and support the development of new areas of business growth.
  • Represent Flint at relevant recruitment, networking and industry events, helping to develop our brand and client/candidate network.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the ATS/CRM and ensure agreed recruitment processes and compliance requirements are followed.
  • Take ownership of your continuous professional development, keeping your recruitment, commercial and market knowledge current.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties appropriate to the role, as required by the Management Team.

About You

Qualification, Experience, Skills and Knowledge

  • Proven experience in a 360-recruitment role, with responsibility for both client development and candidate delivery.
  • Experience recruiting technical and/or professional roles within utilities, energy, technology, telecoms or a related market.
  • Strong track record of developing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Experience of contract and interim recruitment, with a good working knowledge of relevant compliance requirements, including IR35 and umbrella arrangements.
  • Confident sourcing and engaging candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, databases, professional networks and direct approaches.
  • Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including qualification, interview management, offer negotiation and placement.
  • Strong commercial awareness, including experience of rate and commercial negotiations.
  • Confident working with hiring managers, senior stakeholders and candidates at all levels.
  • Familiarity with ATS/CRM platforms and recruitment technology.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple vacancies, clients and priorities effectively.
