We are representing a well-established organisation within the healthcare sector, supporting them in their search for a motivated Recruitment Consultant to join their growing Newcastle upon Tyne team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Recruitment Consultant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing the full 360 recruitment cycle.

The Role
As a Recruitment Consultant, you will take ownership of both client and candidate activity, driving business growth through proactive sales, relationship building, and high-quality recruitment delivery. This position offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to make a real impact within a busy branch.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the local healthcare market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Carry out proactive sales activity including calls, meetings, and networking
- Grow existing accounts and maximise revenue opportunities
360 Recruitment
- Manage the full recruitment process from attraction through to placement
- Source, screen, and interview healthcare candidates
- Maintain a strong pipeline of available workers
- Oversee candidate onboarding and compliance
Performance & Growth
- Work towards and exceed recruitment and sales targets
- Deliver excellent service standards to clients and candidates
- Contribute to the ongoing success and development of the branch

What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in recruitment, sales, or a customer-focused role
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Target-driven mindset with confidence in business development
- Ability to manage a busy workload in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
