Recruitment Consultant - Reed Engineering

Are you an experienced recruiter looking to join an established brand with clear progression opportunities and the support to grow your desk your way?

Reed Engineering in Manchester is looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our successful team. You'll have the opportunity to work across the engineering sector, partnering with businesses to attract skilled professionals across disciplines including manufacturing, maintenance, production, projects, design, and technical engineering.

Whether you're already recruiting within engineering or have a strong track record in another specialist market, we'll provide the tools, resources, and support to help you build a successful desk.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and managing relationships with engineering clients across the North West.
  • Sourcing, engaging, and placing talented engineering professionals.
  • Winning new business opportunities and growing existing accounts.
  • Managing the full recruitment process from initial brief through to offer stage.
  • Becoming a trusted recruitment partner within your specialist market.

  • Previous recruitment experience with a proven billing track record.
  • Strong business development and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive and resilient approach to generating opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ambition to develop your career within a market-leading recruitment business.
