Yolk Engineering & Technical is the largest division within Yolk Recruitment, working with manufacturing and engineering employers across the UK and Ireland.
We recruit across established and emerging technical markets, partnering with businesses ranging from growing SMEs and scale-ups through to major international employers.
We're looking for experienced 360 Recruitment Consultants who want to develop a specialist market, build strong client relationships and increase both their earnings and their career opportunities.
There is a strong track record within the division of Consultants achieving promotions, salary increases and career-best commissions. For those who want to progress into leadership, there is also a clear route into management and beyond.
You'll have the freedom to build your market, backed by experienced leaders and colleagues, the latest recruitment technology, ongoing training and a business that rewards high performance properly.
What you'll be doing
- Developing your own specialist market within engineering, manufacturing or technical recruitment
- Winning new business and developing existing client relationships
- Building a strong understanding of your clients, their businesses and their recruitment challenges
- Advising clients on recruitment strategy, market conditions, salaries and candidate availability
- Identifying, attracting and developing relationships with specialist candidates
- Managing recruitment processes from initial brief through to interview, offer and placement
- Negotiating salaries, rates and commercial terms
- Building long-term relationships with clients and candidates rather than focusing purely on individual vacancies
- Working closely with the wider Engineering & Technical team to share knowledge, opportunities and relationships

What we're looking for
- Successful experience in the recruitment industry
- A genuine appetite for 360 recruitment and business development
- The ambition to build and take ownership of your own market
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and confidence speaking with clients
- Resilience and the ability to stay focused when things do not go to plan
- A collaborative approach and willingness to work closely with the wider team
- An interest in becoming genuinely knowledgeable within your recruitment specialism
- Confidence using technology and new recruitment tools
