Recruitment Consultant
Location: Meriden, West Midlands – Hybrid Working
Salary: Competitive + Uncapped Commission
Employment: Permanent, Full-Time
ECS Resource Group is growing and we’re looking for Recruitment Consultants to join our team in Meriden. Whether you already have recruitment experience or you’re looking to start your career in the industry, we’d be interested in speaking with you.
ECS is an established recruitment business specialising across the technology and engineering markets. We work with organisations ranging from global brands and major enterprises through to growing technology businesses, helping them find the specialist people they need.
The role
Our Recruitment Consultants typically work in a 180 recruitment model, combining candidate resourcing and delivery with account management.
You’ll be responsible for finding great candidates for our clients, managing recruitment processes and building relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
Day to day, you’ll be:
- Sourcing and approaching candidates across LinkedIn, job boards and our existing network
- Speaking with candidates to understand their experience and career goals
- Managing live vacancies and identifying suitable candidates
- Writing candidate profiles and presenting CVs to clients
- Arranging interviews and managing feedback
- Building relationships with existing clients and hiring managers
- Developing your knowledge of the technology and engineering markets
- Working closely with experienced consultants and account managers across ECS

Who are we looking for?
Recruitment experience isn't essential.
We’re interested in people who are ambitious, personable and comfortable speaking with different people every day.
You could already be working in recruitment, sales, customer service or another people-focused role, or you could be a graduate looking for your first step into a commercial career.
Ideally, you’ll be:
- Confident and a good communicator
- Naturally sociable and comfortable building relationships
- Motivated by achieving targets and earning commission
- Organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- Resilient and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Keen to learn and develop
