Recruitment Consultant (6+ months experience)

Manchester City Centre | US Market
Competitive base salary + uncapped commission

At Higher Group, we don’t operate as a traditional recruitment business... we build them

Our work sits at the centre of growth for search, staffing and recruitment firms globally. We partner with founders and leadership teams on the moves that materially change businesses, from M&A and team acquisitions through to senior leadership hires and full-scale buildout

After nine years of deliberate growth, we’ve just delivered our strongest quarter to date. The platform is built; our market position is established, the next phase is scale.

We are hiring experienced recruiters who want to operate at a higher level, commercially, intellectually and financially.

The Role:

You will operate within a clearly defined vertical, aligned to how our clients structure their own organisations. This focus gives you depth, credibility and access that generalist models cannot replicate.

Your remit will include:

  • Partnering with founders, investors and leadership teams on strategic hiring and growth
  • Delivering senior mandates across leadership, partner and team moves
  • Building long-term relationships within a defined market, becoming a recognised authority
  • Contributing to broader growth initiatives across your business unit

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
