Recruitment Consultant – Permanent or Interim FMCG
Manchester City Centre | Hybrid working | Competitive salary + bonus from day one
Are you confident, driven and able to build strong relationships over the phone?
A growing specialist recruitment business in the food and drink manufacturing sector is hiring two Recruitment Consultants due to continued growth:
- One consultant to join its Permanent Recruitment team
- One consultant to join its Interim Recruitment team
Previous recruitment experience isn’t essential. You could already be working in recruitment, or you may come from a successful sales background and be looking for a new career where your effort is genuinely rewarded.
The opportunity
You’ll join a fabulous, supportive team that will give you the training and guidance needed to build a successful recruitment career.
Working within the FMCG market, you’ll develop relationships with businesses across the food and drink manufacturing sector, helping them find talented permanent or interim professionals.
This is a role for someone who enjoys speaking to people, is comfortable picking up the phone and has the drive to create opportunities rather than waiting for them to arrive.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
