Recruitment Consultant – Mechanical & Electrical Construction
Location: London
Salary: Up to £35,000 + uncapped commission - DOUBLE YOUR BASIC - paid monthly
Sector: Construction / Mechanical & Electrical
Type: Full-time
Ready to turn your industry knowledge into serious earning potential?
If you’ve built a career in electrical wholesaling, HVAC, heating, ventilation, air conditioning or M&E sales and you’re looking for your next challenge, this could be a fantastic opportunity to move into recruitment.
We’re looking for an ambitious, driven and commercially minded Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team, specialising in the Mechanical & Electrical construction market.
You don’t necessarily need recruitment experience. In fact, your industry knowledge, sales ability and understanding of customers and products could be far more valuable.
Why recruitment?
You already know the market.
You understand contractors, installers, merchants, manufacturers and the people working across the M&E sector. You know the products, the terminology and the challenges businesses face when trying to find good people.
Now imagine using that knowledge to build relationships, win business and make placements – with an uncapped earning opportunity attached.
This is a role where your success can have a direct impact on your earnings.
The Role
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
