Description

We are representing a well-established organisation within the healthcare sector, supporting them in their search for motivated Recruitment Consultants to join their growing Newcastle upon Tyne and Hull team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Recruitment Consultant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing the full 360 recruitment cycle.

The Role

As a Recruitment Consultant, you will take ownership of both client and candidate activity, driving business growth through proactive sales, relationship building, and high-quality recruitment delivery. This position offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to make a real impact within a busy branch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development
    • Identify and secure new business opportunities within the local healthcare market
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
    • Carry out proactive sales activity including calls, meetings, and networking
    • Grow existing accounts and maximise revenue opportunities

  • 360 Recruitment

    • Manage the full recruitment process from attraction through to placement
    • Source, screen, and interview healthcare candidates
    • Maintain a strong pipeline of available workers
    • Oversee candidate onboarding and compliance
  • Performance & Growth

    • Work towards and exceed recruitment and sales targets
    • Deliver excellent service standards to clients and candidates
    • Contribute to the ongoing success and development of the branch

Requirements

  • Previous experience in recruitment, sales, or a customer-focused role
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Target-driven mindset with confidence in business development
  • Ability to manage a busy workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
