Recruitment Consultant, Healthcare, Rugby Area

Our exclusive client is a specialist recruitment and search consultancy operating within a defined healthcare market segment and currently experiencing sustained organic growth. As their client and candidate portfolio continues to expand, they are looking to strengthen their high-performing consultant team with an additional hire focused on servicing their niche healthcare sector across the UK.

This is a warm desk generating c.£200k per annum, supported by a dedicated talent resourcer - a genuinely rare opportunity in today’s market.

About You:

You will be an ambitious Recruitment Professional seeking a more autonomous, adult working environment within a growing specialist practice. You’ll be confident consulting deeply with clients, understanding their talent requirements, and delivering effective selection outcomes.

You will bring an entrepreneurial mindset, a drive to maximise opportunities, and the ambition to grow a warm desk beyond its current £200k+ turnover. Strong communication skills, commercial curiosity, and a collaborative approach are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client consultation: Assess and interpret business requirements to identify suitable candidates via existing networks and targeted applications.
  • Deep candidate engagement: Consult with candidates on career aspirations and suitability for client briefs.
  • Strategic business development: Proactively build and nurture relationships across the healthcare sector.
  • Candidate assessment: Screen, evaluate, and shortlist candidates aligned to client specifications.
  • C-suite relationship building: Engage with senior stakeholders across SMEs and corporate groups.
  • Job advert creation: Write compelling adverts designed to attract relevant talent.
  • Talent mapping: Maintain a proactive pipeline of available candidates.
  • Social media support: Help create and monitor industry-relevant social content.

Experience Required:

  • Experience in locum/temp or permanent recruitment is essential.
  • Resourcing or consultancy experience preferred (not essential).
  • Comfortable working with the support of a dedicated resourcer.
  • Resilient, driven, and committed to progressing your recruitment career.
  • Stable, progressive career history.
  • Able to work from the central Rugby office (with flexible working).
  • Degree-educated or equivalent.
