We’re now looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join the team and take ownership of an established hot desk, offering existing clients, active candidates and immediate opportunities to generate revenue from day one.
The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced recruiter who wants to hit the ground running, maximise their earning potential and take the next step in their career.
Unlike starting from scratch, you’ll inherit a hot desk with existing relationships and live opportunities, allowing you to focus on what you do best: building relationships, making placements and growing your market.
You’ll have the autonomy to develop your desk, strengthen client partnerships and identify new business opportunities across the Construction and Renewable Energy sectors, with the backing of a supportive team and a business that rewards performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop an established hot desk within the Construction and Renewable Energy markets.
- Build strong relationships with existing clients, candidates and key industry contacts.
- Manage the full 360 recruitment process, from business development and candidate sourcing through to placement and aftercare.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand existing client accounts.
- Source, attract and engage high-quality candidates for specialist roles.
- Negotiate fees, salaries and offers to achieve successful placements.
- Consistently work towards and exceed individual billing targets.
- Contribute to the continued growth and success of RTL Group.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous recruitment experience, ideally within Construction, Renewables, Engineering or a related sector.
- A proven ability to build relationships, win business and generate placements.
- A commercial mindset with the motivation to maximise earning potential.
- Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, resilient attitude and the ability to thrive in a target-driven environment.
- Someone ambitious who wants to develop their career and take advantage of genuine progression opportunities.
