Job Description

Are you a motivated and ambitious recruiter or sales professional looking to build a successful career in a growing market?

Our successful Newbury office is expanding, and we're looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our Industrial team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a growing desk, develop strong client relationships, and play a key role in the continued success of a high-performing and profitable office.

Whether you already have recruitment experience or come from a sales or business development background, you'll be supported by an experienced leadership team with a proven track record of developing consultants and helping them achieve their career goals.

Your role will involve:

  • Developing new business opportunities through outbound sales activity, networking and client meetings.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients across Reading, Newbury, Bracknell and Oxford.
  • Managing temporary recruitment processes including admin, compliance and timesheets.
  • Sourcing and engaging industrial talent including warehouse operatives, production staff and forklift drivers.
  • Conducting client visits to understand workforce requirements and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Delivering an exceptional experience for both clients and candidates.
  • Working towards performance targets and achieving personal and team objectives.
  • Identifying opportunities to grow market share and expand the client base.

What you'll bring:

  • Recruitment experience in a 360 agency environment, or proven success within a sales, business development or telesales role.
  • A proactive and resilient approach with the drive to achieve results.
  • Confidence building relationships and developing new business opportunities.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Commercial awareness and strong negotiation skills.
  • A positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to learn.
  • A driving licence and access to a vehicle, or currently learning to drive, would be advantageous due to client visits across the region.
