Recruitment Consultant – Real Estate Finance Legal (Candidate Delivery Focus)

Build a specialist real estate finance legal desk without the pressure of business development. Focus on what you do best: identifying, engaging and placing exceptional legal talent within one of the most active and commercially driven areas of the legal market.

About the Company

You'll be joining a growing specialist recruitment business operating across the Real Estate Finance Industry. With an established reputation for delivering high-quality recruitment solutions and deep market expertise, the business partners with leading UK law firms, specialist boutique practices and highly regarded regional firms.

Supported by a dedicated Business Development function that generates client relationships, job flow and new opportunities, you'll be able to focus entirely on candidate delivery, talent mapping and placements within the real estate finance legal sector.

About the Role

This is a delivery-focused Legal Recruitment Consultant position specialising in Real Estate Finance Law.

You'll be responsible for sourcing, engaging and managing high-calibre legal professionals across the real estate finance market, working closely with an experienced Business Development Manager who provides live vacancies and client briefs.

Your client base will include leading UK, national, regional and boutique law firms advising banks, alternative lenders, private credit funds, challenger banks, bridging lenders, development finance providers and institutional investors.

This is a pure candidate delivery and sourcing role with no business development expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Headhunt and engage high-quality Real Estate Finance and Banking & Finance lawyers across the UK market.
  • Build and manage talent pipelines covering NQ through to Partner-level legal professionals.
  • Conduct detailed candidate qualification calls and competency-based interviews.
  • Manage recruitment processes from initial engagement through to offer acceptance and placement.
  • Coordinate interviews and provide consultative guidance throughout the hiring process.
  • Develop market intelligence, mapping teams and identifying future talent.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and candidate workflows.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience at every stage of the recruitment journey.
  • Join the Business Development team on Client meetings & Networking Events

Skills & Experience

  • Previous recruitment experience within Real Estate Finance or Legal Recruitment is preferred.
  • Strong candidate sourcing, headhunting and delivery experience.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Commercially minded with a consultative approach.
  • Resilient, proactive and motivated by performance and success.
  • Ability to build credibility with high-calibre legal professionals and law firm partners.
