Recruitment Consultant – Part-Qualified Finance
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Working Pattern: Hybrid
Sector: Finance Recruitment
Salary: Competitive basic salary + attractive commission structure
The Opportunity
We are working with a highly successful and well-established recruitment business in Newcastle that is looking to appoint an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join its growing Finance division.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-achieving team with a strong reputation in the market, excellent client relationships, and a proven track record of success. The role will focus on the recruitment of part-qualified finance professionals across the UK, working with both candidates and clients to deliver high-quality permanent recruitment solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from candidate identification through to placement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients across the UK.
- Source, identify, and engage high-quality part-qualified finance professionals.
- Build and manage a strong candidate network within the finance market.
- Conduct candidate interviews and provide market insight and career advice.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop existing client relationships.
- Work closely with colleagues to maximize opportunities and deliver an exceptional service.
- Meet and exceed individual and team revenue targets.

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone with previous recruitment experience who is confident operating in a target-driven environment. Ideally, you will have:
- Previous experience within recruitment, ideally professional services, finance, or a related market.
- A proven track record of billing and achieving targets.
- Strong business development and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A commercially minded and ambitious approach.
- The ability to work independently while contributing to a successful team.
- A genuine desire to develop a long-term career within a high-performing recruitment business.
