Recruitment Consultant
Technology team – Oracle (contract) desk
Can be based in Sheffield, Manchester or Leeds (Hybrid)
The Opportunity
Are you an experienced tech or ERP recruiter looking to take ownership of one of the fastest-growing specialisms in the UK? This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-performing contract desk within a rapidly scaling Enterprise Technology practice at Hays.
About the Team
Launched in March 2024 and now entering its second year of trading, our Oracle specialism is the fastest-growing tech practice in the UK at Hays. Since last year, there has been 200% year-on-year growth within our contract and permanent function, making it the #1 perm desk in the UK.
You’ll be joining a mature, knowledgeable and well-networked team with strong momentum, national market presence and a clear, proven go-to-market strategy.
The Role
You will take ownership of a project-driven SAP/ERP contract desk, with a primary focus on Oracle Fusion (Oracle’s cloud ERP suite).
You'll work closely with senior stakeholders and programme leaders across large-scale transformation projects, building relationships with decision-makers at the highest level.

- Experienced in recruitment within ERP, SAP, Oracle, digital transformation, or technology projects, OR
- From a project-led recruitment background with a strong understanding of the lifecycle of tech programmes (finance, HR, payroll, supply chain etc.)
You’ll have the freedom to run your own events in partnership with Oracle. The team has previously hosted sessions at Oracle’s headquarters in London, delivered events with the Bank of England, and held five roundtables across the country.
You’ll be supported by expert ERP resourcers, a specialist UK team, a strong Oracle-focused brand and access to high-profile industry events - from Oracle HQ to the Bank of England.
