Join NES Fircroft as a Recruitment Consultant specialising in the fast-growing Offshore Wind sector in Glasgow and help connect world-class talent with some of the most ambitious renewable energy projects across the UK and Europe. ππ¨
The Recruitment Consultant is responsible for developing and managing client and candidate relationships within the Offshore Wind market, delivering exceptional recruitment solutions across engineering, construction, operations, commissioning, and project delivery disciplines.
This role combines business development, account management, candidate sourcing, and market intelligence to drive revenue growth while supporting clients in delivering critical renewable energy infrastructure projects.
What You'll Be Doing πΌβ‘
- Building Client Partnerships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with offshore wind developers, EPC contractors, consultancies, and supply chain partners across the renewable energy sector.
- Winning New Business: Identify and secure new client opportunities through proactive business development activities, networking, referrals, and market engagement.
- Managing the Recruitment Process: Deliver end-to-end recruitment solutions, from vacancy qualification and sourcing to offer management and placement completion.
- Sourcing Specialist Talent: Build and maintain a network of high-calibre professionals across offshore wind and renewable energy disciplines.
- Providing Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, project developments, talent availability, and competitor activity to provide consultative advice to clients and candidates.
- Developing Candidate Relationships: Build long-term partnerships with contractors and permanent candidates, ensuring an exceptional recruitment experience.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain an active portfolio of vacancies, candidates, and business opportunities through effective CRM and recruitment processes.
- Negotiating Commercial Agreements: Manage fee negotiations, contract terms, and commercial discussions to maximise profitability and client satisfaction.
- Supporting Project Delivery: Work closely with colleagues across the wider NES Fircroft network to deliver workforce solutions for major offshore wind projects.
- Achieving Growth Targets: Consistently deliver against individual and team KPIs, revenue objectives, and strategic growth initiatives.

What We're Looking For ππ
- Recruitment Experience: Previous experience within recruitment, staffing, talent acquisition, or workforce solutions.
- Energy Sector Knowledge: Experience within Offshore Wind, Renewables, Power, Engineering, Construction, or Technical recruitment would be highly advantageous.
- Business Development Skills: Proven ability to generate new business opportunities and develop long-term client partnerships.
- Relationship Builder: Excellent networking and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Commercial Awareness: Strong understanding of recruitment metrics, profitability, negotiations, and revenue generation.
- Results-Driven: Demonstrated success achieving targets and delivering against KPIs in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to engage at all levels.
- Organised & Resilient: Able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to contribute positively within a high-performance culture.
