We’re growing the team at EVONA and looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant who wants to build their career in one of the most exciting and fast-moving industries around.

You don’t need previous experience recruiting within the space sector. What we’re looking for is someone who already understands recruitment, enjoys working niche requirements, and wants to properly learn the market they recruit into.

The role

This is a full lifecycle recruitment position where you’ll take ownership of both the candidate and client side of the process.

You’ll have live roles to work on from day one, giving you the opportunity to get up and running quickly while developing your knowledge of the space and deep tech market.

Day to day, you’ll be:

  • Sourcing and engaging candidates for niche and technical requirements
  • Qualifying candidates and understanding their experience, motivations and career goals
  • Managing candidates throughout the entire recruitment process
  • Building strong relationships with hiring managers and existing clients
  • Taking detailed job briefs and understanding exactly what a client needs
  • Managing interviews, feedback, offers and placements
  • Developing a strong understanding of the technologies, companies and people within your market
  • Building your network and identifying new business opportunities
  • Developing existing accounts and relationships
  • Working closely with the wider EVONA team to share knowledge, candidates and opportunities

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we’re looking for

Previous recruitment experience is essential, but we’re open to speaking with people at different levels of seniority.

You might already be an experienced 360 recruiter, or you could be someone who has built a strong foundation in recruitment and is ready to take on more ownership.

For us, the most important thing is that you know how to recruit well.

You should be comfortable speaking with candidates and clients, asking good questions, managing processes and building relationships that last beyond a single placement.

Experience working on niche or technical requirements would be particularly useful. Our markets require you to understand both the technical skills you're recruiting for and the wider industry those people operate within.
