We're looking for an experienced recruitment manager with a proven track record in permanent recruitment to join Hays Life Sciences in London. The Opportunity

Based in our flagship Cheapside office, you'll play a key role in growing our permanent recruitment offering across Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, MedTech and CRO markets. You'll combine hands-on recruitment with team leadership, helping to drive sales performance, develop consultants and strengthen client relationships across a high-growth sector.

Key Responsibilities

As the Permanent Recruitment Lead, you will:

  • Developing and growing new and existing client relationships
  • Leading, coaching and mentoring recruitment consultants
  • Managing permanent recruitment processes from brief to placement
  • Building talent pipelines within specialist Life Sciences markets
  • Driving revenue growth and contributing to the wider business strategy
  • Acting as a trusted adviser to clients and candidates

What You Need to Succeed

  • A successful background in agency recruitment, within permanent recruitment
  • Strong business development and relationship-building skills
  • A commercial mindset with a passion for winning business
  • Previous leadership experience or the ambition to move into a people leadership role
  • Life Sciences recruitment experience is beneficial but not essential
