Temp Consultant: Construction Sector

UK Wide | Fully Remote or Hybrid or Stanmore
Salary: £30,000 to £35,000

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has a proven track record in temporary construction recruitment.
  • Enjoys winning new business as much as servicing clients.
  • Can build long-term relationships.
  • Doesn't need micromanaging.
  • Takes pride in doing a good job.
  • Wants to be part of a business for the long term.

If that's you, we'd like to talk.

What Are We Offering You?

  • A KPI free environment
  • Commission from first placement, no entry threshold
  • £5,000 pay rise once desk cost covered 3 consecutive months

Why Trax?

  • We're an established recruitment business supplying temporary labour into the Construction, Rail and M&E sectors across the UK.
  • We're not the biggest recruitment business in the market, and we're not trying to be.
  • We've built our reputation by doing what we say we'll do, treating clients and candidates properly, and building long-term relationships rather than chasing quick wins.
  • Now we're looking for one experienced recruiter to help us take the next step.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Where?

  • Wherever works best.

    • Stanmore office
    • Hybrid working
    • Fully remote from anywhere in the UK

We're far more interested in results than where your desk happens to be.

Why you might like working here

  • Freedom to recruit without being buried in pointless KPIs.
  • We believe experienced recruiters perform best when they're trusted to get on with the job they're good at.
  • An established reputation and historic client relationships that can be reopened and developed, not just a phone book and a wish of "good luck."
  • The opportunity to help shape the future direction of the business rather than simply work in it.
  • A culture that believes in working smart, building relationships and delivering results, not simply being busy for the sake of it.
  • Flexibility over where you work because we care far more about outcomes than presenteeism.
  • A business where decisions are made quickly, ideas are listened to and success is recognised.
  • A package built around the right person, not a one-size-fits-all job offer.
