As a Recruitment Consultant, you'll use your sales skills and commercial mindset to build client relationships, generate opportunities, and connect talented professionals with exciting career opportunities.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Client Acquisition - Build new relationships with prospective clients through calls, emails, networking, and meetings.
  • Opportunity Generation - Identify and qualify new hiring opportunities while growing your professional network.
  • Account Management - Develop existing client relationships by understanding their hiring needs and providing ongoing support.
  • Candidate Sourcing - Identify, engage, and build relationships with talented professionals within your market.
  • Candidate Management - Guide candidates through the recruitment process, from initial conversations through to offer stage and onboarding.
  • Relationship Building - Create strong, long-term relationships with both clients and candidates, becoming a trusted point of contact.
  • Target-Driven Performance - Work towards individual and team KPIs, revenue targets, and performance goals.
  • Managing the Recruitment Process - Coordinate the hiring process from initial client engagement through to successful placement.

What We're Looking For

  • Sales Experience - Experience in a sales environment such as telesales, inside sales, account management, insurance sales, estate agency, retail sales, or another target-driven role.
  • High-Volume Outbound Calling - Comfortable making daily outbound calls in a B2B or B2C environment, building relationships and creating new opportunities through proactive outreach.
  • Objection Handling & Communication - Confident managing objections, overcoming resistance, building rapport, and influencing decision-makers through effective communication.
  • Target & KPI Focus - Motivated by goals and performance metrics, with experience working towards KPIs, revenue targets, and commission-based objectives.
  • Resilience & Tenacity - Able to stay positive in a competitive environment, bounce back from setbacks, handle rejection professionally, and follow up consistently to achieve results.
  • Active Listening & Relationship Building - Skilled at building trust, understanding needs, and developing strong professional relationships with both clients and candidates.
  • Commercial Mindset & Time Management - Well organised and commercially aware, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while identifying opportunities to generate revenue and deliver value.
  • Curious & Eager to Learn - Interested in developing expertise within a specialist market and building a successful long-term career in recruitment. Previous recruitment experience is welcome but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
