About the Role

A warm permanent and temporary desk. Established client relationships. Live recruitment activity.

Support from an experienced candidate manager.

Accountancy and finance sits at the heart of this established Sheffield recruitment business. You will join a team with a strong regional reputation, experienced consultants around you and direct access to the people who own the company.

You will recruit across the transactional finance market, covering roles such as:

  • Purchase ledger
  • Sales ledger
  • Payroll

  • Finance assistants
  • Accounts trainees
  • Billing
  • Assistant accountants

The desk already has relationships and activity behind it. Your job will be to manage those accounts properly, develop them further and win new clients of your own.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You will run the full recruitment process, but you will have support. An experienced candidate manager works alongside the consultants on candidate sourcing, preparation and delivery. You will also sit with recruiters covering the part-qualified and qualified finance markets, creating opportunities to share relationships and work across wider accounts.

Requirements

You do not need transactional finance recruitment experience.

You could come from accountancy, professional services or another recruitment market. You will need evidence that you can build client relationships, develop business and manage a proper 360 desk. Commitment, commercial judgement and ideas will carry more weight than having the perfect sector label.

This is a strong move for a capable recruiter who wants existing foundations, proper delivery support and enough autonomy to make the desk their own.
