Granite Recruitment – Recruitment Consultants x5 (Permanent Market)

About Granite Recruitment

Granite Recruitment is a specialist provider to the UK’s Energy sector, delivering talent solutions across Oil & Gas, Engineering, Renewables, and the wider Energy markets. Following the successful onboarding of five consultants in August focused on the contract market, we are now expanding our permanent recruitment division and are looking to appoint five additional Recruitment Consultants.

These roles are focused on building, developing, and growing permanent recruitment desks across specialist Energy and technical markets. This is an opportunity to join a growing business at an important stage of expansion, with the backing of an established recruitment brand, structured support, and a collaborative team environment.

We are interested in speaking with both experienced recruiters and ambitious sales professionals who want to build a long-term career in permanent recruitment. You will be responsible for developing client relationships, attracting high-quality candidates, and delivering permanent hiring solutions that create lasting value for clients and candidates.

This is an office-based role with a strong focus on outbound business development, relationship building, and consultative recruitment. As you develop your market, you will strengthen client relationships through regular calls, meetings, and face-to-face engagement both at our office and on client sites. You will have the opportunity to specialise in a permanent market, build your own candidate network, and become a trusted recruitment partner to clients making key long-term hires.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
