Trainee Recruitment Consultant
Swindon | Monday to Thursday in the office
£28,000 basic salary + uncapped commission | OTE £65,000+ in year one
Are you successful in sales but looking for a career with greater earning potential, progression, and ownership?
rmg Digital is hiring a commercially driven salesperson to join our growing recruitment team. You don’t need recruitment experience. We’ll give you the training, tools, and support to succeed.
You’ll work with existing clients while also building your own portfolio of technology businesses, winning new opportunities, and developing a profitable recruitment desk.
What you’ll be doing
- Speaking with new and existing clients
- Winning new business and contract vacancies
- Sourcing and qualifying candidates
- Managing interviews, offers, and placements
- Building long-term client and candidate relationships
- Developing your knowledge of the technology market

What we’re looking for
You’ll need:
- A successful track record in sales
- Confidence speaking to people over the phone
- Motivation to win business and earn commission
- Resilience and the ability to handle rejection
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A consistent work ethic
- A willingness to learn and respond to coaching
Experience in B2B, telephone-based, or solution sales would be particularly relevant, but we’re open to people from other sales backgrounds.
