£26,000 - £35,000 + uncapped commission | Full-time | Permanent
iO Associates is looking for ambitious and commercially minded individuals to join our Commercial IT recruitment team in Bristol as a Recruitment Consultant.
You'll build a career at the intersection of sales, technology and recruitment, developing relationships with businesses and technology professionals while becoming a specialist within your market.
Whether you're a recent graduate or have experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, retail, estate agency, sport or another target-driven environment, this is an opportunity to turn your commercial skills into a long-term career.
No recruitment experience is required. Our award-winning six-month training programme will give you the skills, knowledge and support to develop into a successful recruitment consultant, with clear progression and uncapped earning potential.

Within our Technology division, our teams recruit across a broad range of IT and technology markets, working with businesses and professionals across the sector.

What You'll Be Doing
Recruitment is a people-focused sales career. As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you'll learn how to manage the recruitment process while developing your own client base and specialist market.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing new business and identifying commercial opportunities
- Making outbound sales calls and booking meetings
- Building relationships with technology businesses and hiring managers
- Negotiating commercial terms and recruitment agreements
- Sourcing technology professionals through LinkedIn, job boards and networking
- Speaking with and qualifying candidates
- Managing the recruitment process through to placement
- Developing specialist knowledge of the technology market
- Building your professional network and personal brand
- Working towards individual and team sales targets
