Job Description
Role: Recruitment Coordinator
Location: Northampton (Office Based) - must be residing in or in a close commuting distance to Northampton to be considered
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Are you a highly organised individual who enjoys building relationships, managing multiple priorities, and delivering an excellent candidate experience? We are looking for Recruitment Coordinators to join a brand-new recruitment team in Northampton. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a newly created function, helping to shape the way recruitment is delivered while making a tangible impact from the outset.
Working closely with account management, onboarding and operational teams, you will play a key role in attracting, engaging and onboarding candidates across a variety of workforce groups.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing recruitment activity across a range of staffing groups.
- Reviewing applications and assessing candidate suitability.
- Conducting candidate screening calls and guiding applicants through the recruitment process.
- Acting as the main point of contact for candidates from application through to onboarding.
- Building talent pipelines to support current and future workforce requirements.
- Working closely with operational teams to ensure recruitment plans align with workforce demand.
- Coordinating onboarding activities and maintaining regular contact with candidates throughout their journey.
- Managing candidate records and ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Supporting recruitment campaigns and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For
We're keen to speak with individuals who can demonstrate:
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Confidence communicating with candidates over the phone, by email and in person.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- A proactive approach, taking ownership and accountability for your workload.
- Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
- The ability to follow processes while maintaining a high-quality candidate experience.
Desirable Experience
Whilst recruitment experience would be beneficial, it is not essential. We would also welcome applications from individuals who have experience in:
- Recruitment, resourcing, HR administration or staffing environments.
- Candidate sourcing and attraction activities.
- Roles that involve assessing requirements and matching people, products or services to specific needs.
- Fast-paced, customer-focused environments where organisation and attention to detail are essential.
